KMC Agri Solutions, as a closed corporation, was founded in February 2007 and is based in Kraaifontein Industria, Cape Town, South Africa.

KMC Agri Solutions obtained the exclusive SAME tractor agency for the Western Cape region from GMG Power SA, the importer of SAME products which originates from Italy. Due to various developments on the international front, SAME Italy purchased Deutz Fahr and the worldwide company is currently known Internationally as SDF (SAME Deutz Fahr).

In South Africa, and as from July 1, 2009, a company Eqstra was appointed as the importer for the SAME™ Deutz Fahr products who in turn developed a dealer network to distribute the product throughout Southern Africa. KMC Agri Solutions was appointed in the Western Cape. Shortly thereafter, Kempston Agri became the importer for SAME Deutz Fahr products.

KMC Agri Solutions opted to maintain their representation on all products they were involved with by focusing on marketing, support by a trusted spares team that is filling a “gap” in the market which we believe had been neglected, which resulted from change in the market place. KMC Agri Solutions believes they are fully equipped to offer any farmer or client professional support.

In addition to this, KMC Agri Solutions was also appointed By New Holland S.A at the time, as a New Holland dealer in March 2009. KMC Agri Solutions then decided to focus more on the New Holland, Fiat, and Ford Tractor owners with the focus on parts support and the service needs of prospect clients. The service of Ford and Fiat tractors was now possible. The result was that several agencies started looking at KMC Agri Solutions as an authorized service outlet for their products.

KMC Agri Solutions also has access to many other products, implements and construction equipment. We aim and strive to support all products we are involved with at the clients request, and offer a warranty on our workmanship and expertise. We have the ability to import any equipment for a farmer or client and will support that product on behalf of the supplier. We do not overlook the needs of the Agri Farmer and assist at whatever level is needed.

KMC Agri Solutions strives to change our strategy to support our efforts in the field. A 24/7 approach is the reason why we are convinced that the farmer today needs a good backup service, irrespective of which product needs attention.

KMC Agri Solutions attempts to be acknowledged by all manufacturers as an authorized service dealer to support the markets due to the fact that the tractor park has become less with less units on the farms. Dealerships and the manufacturers have a task at hand with regards to back-up service , and KMC Agri Solutions fills in the gap with technical advise, service support and parts. We pride ourselves in that parts are imported to back up our statement. We can land parts at KMC Agri within 3-5 days from abroad pending stock availability. If not immediately available, 5-10 days.

As of May 2016, KMC Agri Solutions was appointed a dealer for Orchards™/Agrimech as supplier and importer of various makes of specialized vineyard and orchard implements, Ideal Spraying equipment, and a full range of sprayers to suite your needs. We also deal with INFACO Electric Pruning Shears, and have access to the TAFE Tractor range of tractors.

CNHi has purchased the Invicta Holdings Agriculture arm, namely CASE/Northmec, and other agencies included, which enabled KMC Agri Solutions to provide a service to CASE product owners. We sell, service and maintain parts backup at competetive prices. We import parts to support the product at competitive prices. This is KMC Agri’s speciality.

JCB – FASTRAC – KMC Agri Solutions has recently been approached by farmers to import Demonstration JCB Fastrac tractors because of the need in agriculture for a tractor/transport type of tractor and to make use of multi-purpose machinery while mechanizing their operation. MB Trac tractors were used by many farmers for transportation work of their cultivated lands, a multi-purpose tractor, and also for agriculture applications. KMC Agri believes there is a need for this product. We are in communication with a number of United Kingdom dealers. With the assistance of UK dealers KMC Agri Solutions has access to available stock, information on how to service these tractors, diagnose problems, and supply spares.

KMC is registered by the NCRS as importer en rebuilder of work vehicles made for South Africa.

DIECI (from Italy) Telehandlers have been included in our product range, as we believe that this product can be of utmost use in the agricultural market. KMC Agri Solutions has been appointed the dealer for the Western Cape by Dieci Southern Africa,  the newly appointed importers of Dieci products.  The product offers various options and can be fitted with numerous attachments for different functions on the farm.

GFC (Bale Bandit) now known as Pike Engineering appointed KMC Agri solutions as their representative for South Africa, a product which originates from the USA that allows the farmer to mechanize their operation when using a small block baler should the need arise to minimize cost by improved handling advantages, loss of product while handling and transport costs.  A number of machines are already working in South Africa.

IntelligentAG blockage monitoring.  A product used on air seeder planters. KMC Agri Solutions is the appointed representative for this product. This product improves control of the seed outlet and fertilizer outlet, warning for blokages while planting. A simple and very effective system which gets fitted to the air seeder and monitored from within the tractor cab with a bluetooth connection.

Parts – Our latest and most exiting challenge of the business is that we are able to source a number of manufacturers parts from Europe and USA enhancing our service and parts performance. If available immediately, and paid, we deliver within 3-5 days. This is an opportunity for any farmer.
